Who are the lotus eaters?
|
Who or what are lotus eaters? Antiquity has it they were a people who ate the lotus fruit, a mythical fruit known for its power to make men forget their past once consumed. In time, the phrase has evolved to signify people who leave home to live in indolent enjoyment and to forget about their pasts... though save for the indolence, it almost works. This series covers those special breed of Asians, lotus eaters who seek the promise land in Silicon Valley, in search of a lotus life.
