For bargain hunters

CANON Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd and computer vendors in Ipoh have teamed up to organise a cash-and-carry fair dubbed the "Greatest Warehouse Bargain" at Stadium Indera Mulia.

Scheduled to be held from Oct 3 to 5, the fair is aimed at consumers ready to invest in personal computers and related accessories.

"We hope that the fair will enhance the IT niche in Perak," said co-organiser Francis CM Low. He said the fair was prompted by the unprecedented success that Canon had with its Innova Fair in Penang recently.

Low, who is also a manager at Metro Trading and Engineering Sdn Bhd, said that almost half the booths for the fair are already taken.

A total of 40 booths, each measuring two by five metres, will be set up at the indoor stadium.

The fair will feature Canon products ranging from digital cameras, scanners, printers and other PC accessories. Also available are a wide range of PCs from Acer, AST, Compaq, Hewlett Packard and a host of PC-compatibles.

For more details, contact Low at (05) 526-0203 or (05) 526-8790. Or, send him e-mail at
